Here we are, six week's into the new semester and the fall season of change.
Sunday's New York times, 10.7.12, Art section, introduced a new exhibit in NYC ,of Picasso's unseen works. 28 paintings are from his collection, which have never been viewed.
The art critic's will have a field day, analyzing these works. Stay tuned for the art world's reaction/comments.
Spent last Thursday viewing the Kennedy/Kent State photography exhibit at the WAM.
Highly recommend from a historical pespective to an appreciation of the imaging media.
Take time to view the visual presentations that are part of the exhibit.
I need to add, there were more students viewing the exhibit, than musuem visitors.
This was good thing!
Enjoy the colorful season that nature is providing for us.
See, Understand, Appreciate.
Thank you.
When I went to do the first museum paper the Kennedy exhibit had just opened, and it was amazing. Some of the pictures were already familiar to me, but to see them all together in such a great exhibit was very impactful. And I can't wait to see what the reactions to the 'new' Picasso's will be!
